The 2023 European Triple E Awards Ceremony

This year, the Triple E Awards will be held in collaboration with two other key events in the field, namely the 2022 ACEEU Stakeholders Forum as well as the 2022 Triple Helix Conference. The partnership with both events presents attractive opportunities to share, learn and network with both practitioners and academics who are driving entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education.

Fees
Please note that finalists are required to attend the Award Ceremony and purchase a ticket to the above event. Finalists can choose from a 1-day ticket (€220 excl. 19% VAT) and a full event ticket for 3 days (€390 excl. 19% VAT). The tickets enable finalists to attend all sessions of both events during the days for which the ticket has been purchased for. Alternatively, participants can choose a ticket without access to the gala dinner (€150 for the day ticket and &euro320 for the full event ticket).

Both, the attendance to the Ceremony as well as the payment of the event fee are requirements to be recognised as a finalist and be considered for the final evaluation / selection of the winners. You only need to pay the event fee if you are selected as one of the 5 finalists of the category you applied for. There is no application fee to be paid for submitting an entry.

Presentation opportunities for Finalists
All finalists will be given the opportunity to pitch their innovative practice or a thought-provoking ideas during the 2022 ACEE Stakeholders Forum. The pitches will take the form of a PechaKucha presentation. PechaKucha is a storytelling format where a presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary for each.

The Triple Helix Association together with the University of Florence (Department of Economics and Management) invite you to the 20th edition of Triple Helix Conference “Governing new and traditional partnerships for innovation and development in the post-pandemic world” which will be held from the 27 to the 29 of June 2022 in Florence.

The Covid-19 pandemic has profoundly affected the social, environmental, and economic system of the 21st century at the global level, further exacerbating the societal challenges faced by society in the pre-pandemic era. Climate change, social exclusion and inequality are just a few of the wicked problems that need to be addressed in the near future. The collaboration mechanisms among the actors embedded in innovation ecosystems are crucial to develop novel solutions and reach well-being and sustainability. Universities, private and Public Research Organisations (PROs) and governmental institutions as well as industrial and social organisations must find new governance arrangements and ways of working together to tackle these unprecedented challenges to boost innovation for a sustainable and just development in the post-pandemic world.

The Conference aims at providing an international and multidisciplinary venue for discussing and advancing our understanding of these relations with outstanding scholars, policy makers and practitioners. The Conference will be held in presence at the University of Florence giving the opportunity to explore the beauties of this city as well as to visit the Tuscany region in the heart of Italy.

The annual meeting of the ACEEU Community

The 2022 ACEEU Stakeholders Forum is a gourmet event uniting world-wide experts and front-runners to advance the frontiers of entrepreneurship and community engagement in Higher Education.

In the Forum, you will meet ACEEU accredited institutions and current applicants, Council members and peer reviewers, as well as ACEEU project partners who jointly push the boundaries of knowledge on entrepreneurship and engagement.

University of Florence: School of Economics and Management

The University of Florence is an important and influential centre for research and higher training in Italy, with 1,800 lecturers and internal research staff, 1,600 technical and administrative staff, and over 1,600 research assistants and doctoral students. It offers a wide range of study programmes at various levels and in all areas of knowledge. Over 130 Degree courses organised in 10 Schools, with a population of about 51,000 enrolled students, one-fourth of which come from outside of Tuscany.

The University of Florence has a natural international vocation and shows an intensive participation in research programmes of national and international relevance, and a growing engagement in knowledge transfer and community development projects supported by internal service centres, such as an university business incubator, and the involvement in the local and regional innovation ecosystem also thanks to its participated Foundation for Research and Innovation.

The Campus is in the Novoli neighbourhood in the northern part of Florence. The Campus is well connected to the city centre and to the Airport of Florence. Attendance to the Conference will be possible both in person and in remote mode.
